About Romco Builders
Who stands behind Romco Demolition
Romco Demolition is a line of work within Romco Builders, a licensed Florida general contractor. The company was founded in 2015 and its headquarters are in Fort Lauderdale.
We are a construction company first. On most projects demolition is the opening trade, so we plan it the way we plan the rest: scope in writing, a sequence, a budget, and an eye on the trade that arrives next.
Size does not decide whether we quote. A pool deck, a single interior wall or a full building all start the same way, with the property itself, the neighbors, the utilities and the checklist of the office that issues the permit.
Some ground work stays in-house. Romco self-performs dewatering, Support of Excavation, meaning the engineered shoring that keeps the sides of a deep excavation from moving, and deep foundations, including in tidal ground.

Plain statements about how we work
- Romco Builders is a licensed Florida general contractor. License details come with the quote.
- There is no price list. Each job is priced from a site visit, photos or drawings.
- We give no completion dates. Plan review, the health department's notice period and utility release letters sit outside our control, so we show the sequence and what each step waits on.
- Licensed consultants survey for asbestos and licensed abatement firms remove it. We arrange and schedule both; we hold neither license ourselves.
